MULTIMODAL TRANSPORT STRATEGY STUDY

Project

The objective of the study is the elaboration of the medium and long-term development strategy of the transport sector, given the expected role of this sector in supporting the national economy and the social development and the creation of a program of reforms and investments in support to this strategy.

The study focuses on the air, sea and multimodal components of transport. It incorporates the conclusion of another transport study for the presentation of a global sector strategy.

The study focuses on:

  • the objectives of the new strategy, the sub-objectives of each transport mode and their prioritization,
  • the detailed action plans by sub-sector and the five-year prioritized program,
  • the respective roles of the State and the private sector in the implementation of the new strategy,
  • the performance and impact indicators for the monitoring and evaluation of the strategy.
