Project
The Ministry of Education decided to launch a national consultation to develop a new vision for education that took place in 2015 via the 26 education commissariats spread across the 24 governorates of the country. In November 2015 a national conference on the study of the results of the National Dialogue on educational reform was held in Tunis.
The national dialogue around the reform of the education system in Tunisia resulted in the publication in May 2016 of a white paper: "project of reform of the education system in Tunisia".
The present mission is part of the 213 million euro school equipment, construction and renovation program, which is subject to multi-donor financing.
The project of Technical Assistance to the Ministry of National Education in Tunisia for the modernization of schools, consists in the construction of 59 schools and the renovation of 310 other schools during 43 months (2020).
