Project
The project is part of the construction of the Maghreb highway which will connect the 5 capitals of the Maghreb countries. It concerns the section 3 connecting the city of Skhira to the city of Gabès on a 53km stretch. This section is divided into 2 lots: Lot 5: Skhira - Métouia (25km) and Lot 6: Métouia-Gabès (28 km).
The highway has an asphalt concrete surface and will be built in 2X2 lanes extensible to 2X3 lanes.
The components of the projects are:
- 1 interchange
- 65 OH (Hydraulic Works) of the single and multiple gutter type
- 3 GOH (Large Hydraulic Structures), of the reinforced concrete girder bridge type with isostatic girders, with deep foundations, with spans of 20ml length (the 3 bridges are 100ml, 160ml and 60ml long respectively)
- 18 Overpasses
- 2 Overpasses
- 2 toll booths
