Project
The project concerns the construction of 4 desalination plants (by reverse osmosis desalination process) in the regions of Tenemi, Al Mardum, Chmik and Garath, El Gattaf in Beni Walid (Shabia of Mousrata).
Each of the 4 plants has to treat 250m3/day of brackish water coming from the nearby drillings.
The project aims to lower the salinity at 500ppm and to reduce the temperature of the water coming from the drillings, from 45°C to 28°C.
Our mission
Supervision of works:
The mission of supervision of works started with further analysis of the gross water coming from the 4 drillings, that showed the presence of H2S disturbing the membranes functioning.
This led to modify the initial process of desalination which had been completed by the degasification of the H2S, the acidification of the treated water and the treatment bromides in evaporation ponds.
Training:
2 technicians in each plant benefited from operating and maintenance trainings.
