SCET-TUNISIE WINS THE CORRIDOR ABIDJAN-LAGOS HIGHWAY (LOT 3: TOGO – BENIN – NIGERIA; 320 KM)

SCET-TUNISIE in consortium with the DECO (Togo) has started in March 2019 the Feasibility, Environmental and Social Impact Studies, Preliminary Design, Detailed Design and Tender documents for the construction works on the Abidjan-Lagos Corridor Highway - LOT 3: TOGO -BENIN - NIGERIA (320KM). The client is ECOWAS and the funding is provided by the African Development Bank.

The Abidjan-Lagos Corridor Highway Project (approximately 1038 km) will facilitate transport on the Abidjan-Lagos corridor, representing more than 75% of West Africa's trade volume and will provide a 2*3 ways highway link between Abidjan, Accra, Lomé, Cotonou, and Lagos.

The design of the Lot 3 Togo-Benin-Nigeria (approximately 320 km) will focus on:

  • Identification of the economically viable layout;
  • Detailed design of the project;
  • Environmental and social impact studies;
  • Socio-economic and gender studies;
  • Definition of a financing and project management model.
