The construction site of phase 1 of the Yaounde-Douala Highway is nearing completion, with more than 90% progress.
Since April 2014, SCET-TUNISIE (in a consortium) has been in charge of the supervision of the works on the first section of this 60 km long motorway, 60 km long (phase 1). On Tuesday, April 6th , 2021, the Minister of Public Works of Cameroon, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, carried out a reconnaissance visit of the connection roads of the Yaounde-Douala highway from PK 0 to the Yaounde urban network via Nkolbisson and from PK 60 to the National Road N°3 via Boumnyebel. This first section is scheduled to be put into circulation in December 2021.
