Project
The Project is part of the Maghreb Highway Program aiming at connecting the five capitals of the Maghreb countries. The Project concerns the Section 1 connecting Gabes to Mareth cities (42 km). This section comprises 2 packages:
- Lot N ° 1: Gabès-Kettana, 21 km
- Lot N ° 2: Kettana- Mareth, 21 km
The highway is executed in asphalt concrete pavement and is in 2x2 lanes extendable to 2x3 lanes;
The pavement is made of the following layers :
- A Wearing course in bituminous concrete
- A Base layer in bitumen-bound graded aggregate treated
- A Subbase layer in wet graded aggregate
- A Subgrade layer in crushed aggregate untreated
The works include the following structures:
- 57 Hydraulic structures, single and multiple culverts
- 3 reinforced concrete deck girder bridge with clear spans of 20m with deep foundations (the 3 bridges are respectively 100m, 80m and 60m long)
- 13 Overpasses, reinforced concrete slab bridge type, with 4 spans each
- 3 Underpasses: 2 underpasses of reinforced concrete gantry bridge type with 2m span each and 1 of small gage

Our mission
- Verification and approval of the contractor implementation design
- The control of works and organize site meetings
- The Validation of the Interim payments
- Review the Contractor claims if any
- Drafting the monthly and quarterly progress reports
- Provisional and final acceptance of the project
