Projet
The State intends to place the Félix Houphouët Boigny International Airport in Abidjan within a framework of multimodal transport (maritime, river, land, rail and air) and to make it the main hub of the sub-region.
To this end, following the example of the international passenger terminal, which has been modernized and developed, studies have been carried out for the modernization and extension of the airport's Freight Centre in order to comply with the international safety and security standards necessary for the airport certification.
The Freight Centre has two components:
- TBuilding works:
- A reception building (4 160 m²);
- Cargo Terminal (6790 m²);
- Airmail office (365 m²);
- Staff facilities (changing rooms, toilets and showers, infirmary, mosque and cafeteria);
- Other premises (guard, gendarmerie and customs) of 160m²;
- Stores;
- Construction of 10 warehouses;
- Construction of 10 warehouses;
- Access roads and networks in the tertiary zone comprising :
- Preparatory works and earthworks;
- Access roads to the different areas;
- Sewage and storm water drainage networks;
- Electricity, street lighting phone and fiber optic networks;
- Drinking water and fire water networks;
Notre mission
Phase 1: Verification and improvement of technical studies which includes :
- Updating and validation of the Tender Documents for the modernization and extension works of the Freight Centre's buildings;
- Elaboration of a Detailed Preliminary Design and preparation of Tender Documents for the access roads and networks in the project area.
Phase 2: Assistance to the Works Contract - Monitoring and supervision of the works.
