Project
The project consists in the development of an irrigated perimeter over an area of 2,500 ha (rice and mixed growing) in the Sourou river valley.
The hydro-agricultural infrastructures include:
- 8 pumping stations (water flow from 500 to 1000 l/s ; TDH : from 4 to 8 m)
- 110 km of irrigation canals (earth canals and paved canals)
- 180 km of drainage system
- Protection against floods control infrastructures (20 km of dykes and 18 km of upfront peripheral drains)
- 150 km of tracks
