Project
The project concerns the construction of a rail / road bridge and its access roads and connections to the existing network.
The bridge is located in the Littoral Region in Douala; the works include:
- A 700 meters long road bridge and a 700 meters long rail bridge
- Bonabéri side: road and rail connections over nearly 600 meters, including the restoration of local residents' access and the rehabilitation of the existing road
- Deido side: the road and rail connections on nearly 1500 meters
- An interchange to link with the port Boulevard
The project includes training and transfer of skills to young engineers belonging to the Ministry of Public Works. The works are carried out as part of a design and build contract
Our mission
The mission concerns the Assistance to the Contracting Authority (Delegated project management services).
The services provided in this context include:
- Validation of the Project of the bridge including access roads, connections and exchange devices, whose studies are elaborated by the Company
- Approval of the detailed design developed by the contractor. The design concerns all the project components (road bridge, rail bridge, access roads, connection railway lines,…)
- Assistance to the Client in the supervision of the works
- Project management, scheduling and budget control
